We’re Spreading our Wings!

We’re happy to announce the Great Lakes Energy board of directors has approved the construction of our Truestream fiber network in parts of our Hart, Newaygo, and Wayland service areas!

If you’re a member of Great Lakes Energy in a recently approved area, you’re eligible for Truestream’s life-changing, fast fiber internet and voice services with speeds up to 1 Gig and pricing starting at just $59.99/month. Vacation and business plans are also available.

Construction will begin by building a fiber trunk through the Hart, Newaygo, and Wayland service areas. We’ll then connect to designated areas off of the trunk in small groups, eventually connecting the ENTIRE service area. Please note, the areas first selected for construction are based on a number of factors, including demand. Make sure you’re registered at jointruestream.com to help us plan for the next areas we will build to within the Hart, Newaygo, and Wayland service areas.

It’s time for Truestream!

If you have registered for service, when your area moves into the construction, we will contact you to complete the necessary documents to build and bring the fiber line to your home or business (the drop). The drop will follow the path your electric takes, either overhead or underground.
