Internet Troubleshooting Tips
1. First, restart your computer or device. If this doesn’t resolve your issue, proceed to step two.
2. Unplug your router, wait 30 seconds, and then plug it back into the wall. Wait five minutes for the router to reboot. Verify the “Service” and “WiFi” LED indicators are green, then reconnect your computer or device.
3. If steps one and two don’t resolve your issue, please call 888-485-2537 for our 24/7 technical support team.
Your Internet comes with a Gigacenter—your access point for WiFi and hard-wired connections. Your WiFi password and all pertinent information is on the sticker located on your Gigacenter, which has been calibrated for maximum performance. Please note that adding an alternative router could degrade your home’s service. We recommend using your Truestream Gigacenter for all WiFi access.
Internet speeds can be affected by a number of additional factors, including placement of the Gigacenter, your connection type, the number of devices in use, the age of your device, site traffic, content provider server capacity, and internal network factors.

We offer a battery back-up solution to maintain uninterruptible voice and/or internet service in the case of a power outage. The device is available for $75 to purchase. Expected run time is 8 + hours.
